The list below survey a selection of audiovisual and digital preservation related organisations and provides links to their websites.
Commonwealth countries share common legal and administrative traditions as well as common historical experience and a common language; the Association of Commonwealth Archivists and Records Managers (ACARM) provides a vehicle for sharing strategies and for addressing professional issues of concern to its members.
ARMA International is a not-for-profit professional association and the authority on managing records and information - paper and electronic.

The Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) is an organization dedicated to the preservation and study of sound recordings, in all genres of music and speech, in all formats, and from all periods. ARSC is unique in bringing together private individuals and institutional professionals-everyone with a serious interest in recorded sound.

The Technical Council responds to membership interest by providing information through conferences, conventions, workshops, and publications. In association with JISC the archives host over 12,000 recordings of spoken word, music, and human and natural environments in an online downloadable resource for UK further and higher education. Anyone can search or browse the information on this site but to access the audio resources a license is required.

The Film Archive Forum represents all of the public sector film and television archives which care for the UK's moving image heritage. On behalf of its Members ERA operates a Licensing Scheme for educational use of copyright material.
