A newcomer to the photography market is close to launching an impressive new camera which allows the user to refocus the picture after it has been taken.
Lytro have produced what they call a 'light field camera' which offers the ability to change the point of focus after the event, this feature comes at the price of a slight drop in resolution. You can read more about the science behind this camera in the CEO's dissertation.
