One week to launch of EdMediaShare

We're just one week away from the launch of EdMediaShare – our new proof of concept video sharing site.

We've a busy week ahead getting EdMediaShare ready for its launch on Monday, 3 October. There's last minute usability surveys to carry out, final editing of the interface, as well as introductory videos to complete. The first of these video deals with one of the key concepts behind EdMediaShare - Dial-e Framework1 learning designs.

To help make finding useful online video easier, EdMediaShare will use learning design categories devised for the JISC-funded Dial-e Framework. For those unfamiliar with the concepts, we've produced this short introduction – which, incidentally provides a sneak peek of the EdMediaShare interface:
