The people at Dane-Elec have come up with a simple and inexpensive way to provide secure access to data anywhere on the Internet.

The my-Ditto is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) box which provides easy-to-use access for up to 30 people by means of USB keys. Simply plug the my-Ditto box into your router and, well, that's it, really.  Anyone with a USB key can plug it into a computer anywhere and access the contents of the my-Ditto.  It's available in sizes from 500 MB to 4 TB with a diskless version you can configure yourself.  There are also iPhone, Android and Windows Mobile apps to allow you to access your data.

The end result is a small, dedicated server (including streaming video and audio) which is affordable and effortless to use, ideal for classes, small businesses, research projects or any other small group of users who need to share data over the Internet.
