Photojojo has just released a new product: a mount which enables you to use standard SLR lenses on an iPhone 4.

Broken Lens / Thana Thaweeskulchai / CC BY-NC-SA 2.0

The product is essentially a hard case for the iPhone with a standard lens mount.  It comes in both Nikon and Canon flavours, but while the Nikon version will accept any Nikon lens, the Canon version will only work with Canon EOS lenses.  Two other caveats: the image appears upside down on the iPhone and also tends to be a stop or two darker, but for most people the advantages of using proper lenses will far outweigh these minor points.

Of course, the iPhone is still only a 5 megapixel camera, so if you think you're going to be challenging the Canon EOS 5D Mk 2 you're in for a bit of a surprise.  Nevertheless, if you don't want to have to lug around a separate camera (but are willing to lug around separate lenses), this may be just the ticket for you.
