Free-to-attend digitisation seminars

JISC Digital Media have just announced a series of free-to-attend seminars in September.

First, we are hosting two free Digital Media Seminars which focus on key topics for individuals involved with digital media:

  • Successfully Building and Managing Digital Media Collection - 15 September 2009
  • The Digital Media Collection +100 Years - 16th September 2009

Later in September, we are co-hosting with the University of Bristol Drama Department a series of three one-day Digital Performance Seminars:

  • Creating Digital Performance Documentation - 23rd September 2009
  • Managing Digital Performance Documentation - 24th September 2009
  • Delivering Digital Performance Documentation - 25th September 2009

All the seminars are funded by the Joint Information System Committee under the JISC ITT Workshops & Seminars: Achievements & Challenges in Digitisation & e-Content strand.

Out of curiosity, will notes or videos from any of these seminars be available online?

yes documentation will be available online after the event, although presentations will not be available in their entirety.
